Communications & Marketing Coordinator.

Emily Messmer is Simbi Foundation’s Communications and Marketing Coordinator. Joining Simbi Foundation through the Co-operative Education program at Simon Fraser University, Emily is a fourth-year Business and Communications student. With a passion for creativity at a young age, Emily devoted her early teens to hobbies including photography and painting.

By high school, these passions directed her interest to the creative aspects of business. Before graduating, she joined a fundraising committee for Kabale, Uganda that amounted to enhanced housing and education in the community. This formative experience initiated Emily’s pursuit in university to join an organization like Simbi Foundation that values meaningful change.
