Founder

Aaron Friedland is a National Geographic Explorer, Economics Lecturer, Founder, Development Practitioner, and PhD candidate.

His research in the field of econometrics is focused on the intersection of economics and education, and his research-based interventions have helped over 35,000 learners in Uganda and India improve their literacy rates, literacy being the number one predictor of academic success.

Friedland is currently collaborating with the UN to bring his literacy interventions to the Bidibidi and Nakivale refugee settlements in Uganda, which combined are home to more than 450,000 people.
