Mary, age 11, is a student at the Jonathan Netanyahu Memorial School in Primary 3. She lives in Putti Village and travels 4 km to and from school each day. Unfortunately, her family’s financial situation means that she must complete her walk to school on an empty stomach.

Mary loves going to school because she enjoys being surrounded by good friends and encouraging teachers. Learning at school each day comforts Mary because she feels that it is a safe environment for her and enjoys the school lunch.
