Ritesh is 12 years old and in Grade 6. His favourite subject is science because he loves the experiments! He even takes science experiment books after school to work on them at home! Every day before school, Ritesh wakes up at 6:30am, gets ready, has breakfast and comes to school by bus with his younger sister, which takes them 30 minutes.

Ritesh’s mother is a homemaker and his father is a farmer. Ritesh will sometimes help out at the farm by collecting water from a nearby river for the animals and family to drink. When he grows up, Ritesh wants to be a Cricketer. He loves to play cricket at school and only wants to do it more! After school, Ritesh has lunch with his family and when everyone takes their afternoon nap, he enjoys drawing because he can’t sleep. In the evening Ritesh plays and studies – science takes him the most time to work on. Ritesh loves working in the BrightBox Classroom every day to read the chapter of the day, and prefers reading with Simbi!
